Suggested Practices

Journeying with Sentient Consciousness of Nature

30 days of journeying with your special plant from Utah. Ideally with a blindfold and shamanic drumming. Can be integrated into meditation as well. Keep a journal to jot down post-journey reflections each day.

30 days of journeying with Kambo and Bufo (alternating). Blindfolded, laying down with shamanic drumming. Sink into the body, set your mind aside and call in the spirit of the medicine. Ask for any guidance or message they may have for you. Remain open and receptive to all sensory input (this is not cerebral, the mind can sit quiet and take a break for the journey). Take notes at the end of the journey and thank the Bufo or Kambo.

Journey into the liver using the same method.

Tarot Journey with the Archetypes
Buy yourself Jodorowsky's tarot book + a tarot journal. I recommend Jodorowsky's Marseille Tarot deck as well. This will begin your journey through the major arcana, starting with The Fool, and ending with The World. Place the card/archetype you are connecting with in a visible area in the house or keep it with you. Take a little time each day to bring your awareness to this card. Notice the aspects of yourself and your life where this energy is reflected. You may journey with a card for any given amount of time depending on your own personal experience with the archetype. When you intuitively feel it is time to move on, draw the next card in sequence. Continue until you have moved through the whole major arcana.
Keep a journal dedicated to tarot o reflect on your experiences with each card.

Inner Smile - Nourishing the Organs

LIVER

Energetics: growth, benevolence, expansion, generosity, full potential | anger, frustration, irritability

Color: Green

Sound : Tshoo

  • Rub your palms together quickly to generate heat.
  • Place your palms over your liver, located to the right side of lower rib cage
  • Take a moment to attune to the liver, bathing it with an inner smile of acknowledgment and appreciation.
  • Imagine permeating your liver with green light - use your inner eye to connect. Follow your energy as it moves deeper into the liver and keep your awareness there.
  • Breathe in through your nose, taking in the essence of benevolence, expansion, and generosity while channeling that feeling through your hands and into the liver. After awhile the words don't matter so much, it's more about cultivating the essence of these words and flooding that energy into the liver.
  • Exhale out the mouth making the "tshoo" sound, while releasing any feelings of anger, frustration and irritability.
  • Maintain the inner smile for the whole practice.
  • Repeat a few cycles until you feel complete.
